1997	The Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was reorganised into the Police Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs
10-1995	At the conference of IP A in Vienna the Lithuanian Department was officially accepted into the International Association of Police
10-1993	The Association of the Lithuanian Police was established
